OBJECTIVE
To obtain a full time position as a programmer or systems analyst that will utilize my past education to it's fullest extent, encourage me to perform to my fullest potential, and allow for me to positively affect the direction my employing company.

At Illinois State University, I am currently enrolled as a senior majoring in Applied Computer Science (Computer Information Systems Sequence) with a minor in Business Administration. Graduating in May of 1999, my major G.P.A is currently 3.30.

Working for the Risk Management division of CNA Insurance, I worked closely with database designers to create a Visual Basic front end for a Sybase database. Gained experience with VB Data Access Objects, Network Programming, Visual Basic 5.0, SQL (including stored procedures), Sybase, User Interface Design and user requirement satisfaction.
Student Manager	1/97 to Present
At the Vrooman dorm dining center of Illinois State University, I am a student manager supervising the tasks of roughly 30 other students during the school year. Responsible for hiring/firing and employee evaluations.
LAN Coordinator	2/98 to 9/98
Employed by the department of Economics Education of Illinois State University, I assist the professors in their computer use. Maintain a database of the department's technology assets. Small programming tasks. General Windows and Macintosh trouble-shooting. Installing new computers/hardware/software. Client server network diagnostics and maintenance.
Database Design and Technical Support	6/97 to 9/97
Working for Andersen Worldwide in St. Charles, IL, (A.K.A. Andersen Consulting, Arthur Andersen) I worked under a Systems Analyst to design, implement and debug dozens of Lotus Notes databases. Communicated with users to resolve help desk calls regarding firm standard software. Strengthened my Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and Visual Basic skills.
Systems Analyst	6/95 to 9/95 and 6/96 to 9/96
Worked in The Barrington Consulting Group's Chicago Office. After collaborating with senior partners, I designed the firm's Internet web site. Renovated and maintained the existing database to store the company's client records. Designed and implemented the office's Novel network. Trained employees in the use of their network and other software applications. Created graphics to be used during litigation cases.
